Short version: no ad trackers and no third-party analytics. I count visits with my own cookieless stats, and the only cookie is a sign-in cookie, set when you sign in to your account.

Visit statistics
This site counts visits with its own simple stats, built into the site. There is no Google Analytics or other outside service, and no cookies or local storage are used for it. For each page view it stores the page address, the website that sent you there (just its domain, like google.com), any campaign tag in the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), a rough screen size (small, medium or large) and the time. It also counts booking steps (opening the scheduler, picking a time, sending the form, booking, paying), class sign-ups and clicks on the Discord invite, so I can see where the booking flow loses people.
Your IP address is never stored. To count unique visitors, the site mixes your IP address and browser name with a random value that is replaced every day and keeps only a short scrambled code. Because the random value is thrown away each day, the same person can’t be recognised from one day to the next, and the code can’t be turned back into your IP address. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted. Detailed records are deleted after 180 days; after that only daily totals (like “40 visitors on Tuesday”) are kept. Nobody but me sees the stats.
Theme preference
Your light/dark choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device.
Booking
Booking runs on this site, with no third-party scheduler. When you book, I store your name, email, the session time, your time zone and anything you write in the booking form: your goal, the tools you already use, and anything you’d like me to prepare. I use it to run the session and to send your confirmation, reminder and calendar invite. Your name and email are remembered in your browser’s local storage to pre-fill the form next time. Video calls use the link in your confirmation (Jitsi Meet by default, which has its own privacy policy). Booking records are kept for up to 2 years for scheduling and accounting, then deleted. Email me to have yours removed sooner.
Payments
Deposits and session payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch this site. I only keep a record of what was paid or refunded for each booking.
Your account and Discord
Your account is your email address: sign in with a one-time link, no password. It shows your bookings, class sign-ups, pack balance and any notes or recordings I share after a session. If you link Discord, I store your Discord user ID and username so your private session room, reminders and class pings reach you there, and Discord’s sign-in briefly gives this site permission to add you to the zachg.me server. That permission is used once and not kept. You can unlink Discord from your account page at any time. Discord’s own privacy policy applies on Discord.
Group classes
When you RSVP to a class I keep your name and email to send the link and a reminder, and so you can cancel. Sign-ups are visible only to me.
Contact form
Messages sent through the form go straight to my inbox from this site’s own mail server. I use your name and email only to reply.
Fonts
The fonts on this site are hosted on this site, so your browser doesn’t contact Google or any other font service to show these pages.
